Great job at Sunapee today everyone! Thank God the rain held off long enough for us to race.
For Barre tomorrow, we can leave a little bit later as we have no one doing the first two races of the day, so let's plan on leaving my house at 7 am sharp. Also, Paul McNeill has generously offered to bring his grill up and cook up some chow for us between races, so bring your appetite!
Some other things to think about:
1) I've booked 5 rooms for the Whiteface RR / Saranac crit weekend at the Grand View Motel in Wilmington, NY for Friday and Sat night, June 10-11, so that's 9 kids who can go as it's 2 to a room and I'm going. So, please let me know who's going AND PLEASE PRE-REGISTER IF YOU'RE GOING (enter your respective junior age category). If need be, we can book more rooms. As for Jack and Carl, there's a great kids race on Sunday at the Saranac crit, so there're welcome to come along as well. VARSITY, JV, CUBS AND KIDS
2) It's time to really start selling our Fourth of July Fundraising Fondo (info at www.kmscyclingteam.com)! Each racer on the team is REQUIRED to get FIVE PEOPLE to sign up for the fondo. To sign up, just go to our bikereg page: http://www.bikereg.com/events/register.asp?eventid=12296.
3) For Killington Stage Race next weekend, it's fine for our JV kids to sign up for the Citizens races on Sat (Plymouth loop) and Sun (Time Trial).
Thanks!

training race
Hi guys:
It's looking like rain, rain and more rain all day, so no race for us tonight. Try to ride your trainers for an hour if you can. I'll keep you posted on tomorrow's race.
Thanks!
Peter

Plan for the week
Peter,
I'm still trying to find about 5 course marshal volunteers for the Woodstock portion of the Monday, May 30 KSR Road Race: Time commitment is about 3-4 hours from 9:30AM.
I need 2 volunteers at the Feed Zone on Rt. 12 and Gulf Rd North entrance, 1 volunteer (or 2 is ok too) at Rt. 12 and Prosper Rd - cyclists make right turn onto Prosper Rd. - and 2 or 3 volunteers at Prosper Rd and Rt.4
All very exciting- action packed course locations. All volunteers receive KSR 2011 T's + swag and are invited to the volunteer dinner -with a great raffle where everyone walks away with some great bike gear.
And while I'm at it --if you happen to know of anyone who'd like to help course marshal for the AM or PM Saturday KSR circuit race - I still need a few more volunteers - again for some prime locations - like the finish line.
Please have them contact me (see below)- or you can send me their contact information and I will contact them.
Cheers,
Good luck training for the race.
