The plan for Sunday's race will be to leave the SH at 9 am. I'll be there for support and feeding as it'll most likely be hot. Riders should enter just their junior category as it's a championship event and LAJRS race (except for Erin who should enter the W1-3). Don't forget to pre-reg.
All kids who are thinking about doing cross should really make an effort to do the Cycle-Smart camp the weekend of the 20-21 (see team website for reg link). You can just do Sat and Sun and drive to and from each day. It's a straight shot down I91 and will be worth worth the modest price of admission and you won't have to worry about hotel costs. Little kids planning to do cross (like Carl) would be well-advised to attend this camp. Sorry that I can't go, but I'll be out of town that weekend.
The KMS team has been invited to race in the very prestigious TD Bank Mayor's Cup Crit in Boston on Sept. 25:

The team will consist of Ansel, Brendan, Stockman and Alden. Erin would be racing too, but she's already entered for the VT 50 which is the same day.
Varsity members, don't forget to pre-reg for GMSR (link on the team website). Due to the massive complexity of having me race and still try to manage the team, I'll be focusing solely on coaching for this race, so I'll be able to feed and provide all of the usual support. All Varsity riders should try to attend this race. We'll be doing a mini-training camp the weekend of Aug. 27-28 on the actual courses and then doing a very easy week prior to the race.
We're starting our cross training race at Harpoon next Tues, so get your cross bikes in order by visiting Dan at the SH soon!
Thanks!
Peter
