Plan for the week
Congrats this week go to Ansel Dickey for his outstanding 20th place in the 150 man Cat 3/Jr. field at arguably the biggest cross race of the regular season down in Gloucester on Sunday. For this week:
Monday: Kids ride canceled due to weather. PLEASE NOTE: For the rest of the fall and possibly into early winter, our Monday night kids' rides will take place after school at 3:30 pm at the Gebhardts' home on the Pomfret Stage Road located about half way between Chippers and the Teago Store on the west side of the road. We'll do some cross riding on the Gebhardts' course and then a quick road ride warmdown on the Pomfret Stage road with a stop at the Teago store for a snack at the end of the ride. Pick-up will be at 4:45 pm.
Tues: We'll be doing a steady 1.5 hour dirt road ride from the SH at 4 pm.
Wed: prep school mt. bike race Vermont Academy: Van will leave SH at 1 pm.
Thurs: Club Mt. bike ride at 6 pm from the Brownsville Triangle. Lights mandatory and it finally looks like it's not going to rain!
Friday: TSR at 8 am from the SH.
Sat/Sun: Providence, RI Verge Cross races. So far, Ansel, Alden, Jack Watson and possibly Carl Gebhardt attending. We'll most likely stay at Ansel's house in Truro on Sat night. We'll leave early Sat morning and be back Sun at about dinner time. **Please confirm with me if you're planning on attending.
