For Saturday's race in Windsor, oddly, my race is first at 9:30 am, so the van will be leaving the SH at 7:30 am, but Ansel, Peter and Alden will most likely sleep in and come down later as their race isn't until 12:30 pm. Fine for B and Erin to come later as well.
For Sunday's race in Putney, van will be leaving the SH at 7:15 am. Ansel is racing the pro race, which is the last race of the day, so we'll aim to get home at about 5 pm.
Thanks!

Tues and Wed plans
For both Tues and Wed, we need to be riding/racing at 3:30, which means we'll need to leave Woodstock by 2:30 pm on Tues and by 2 pm on Wed.
Also, for anyone doing the final prep school mt. bike race at Highland Park on Wed, Brad Ramsay will be driving, so please contact him directly at: ramsay.family@comcast.net.

Great weekend of racing. Very proud to announce that our own Erin Donohue is the 2011 New England High School Mountain Biking Girls Champion! Not bad that our little old team sports the best high school girl mountain biker in all of New England. Way to go, Erin! Check out the pics at: www.kmscyclingteam.com.
Also, congrats to our cyclo-crossers at the Cycle-Smart International Verge Series race over the weekend. While everyone had some solid results, I have to say that our best result of the entire weekend for cross was Jack Watson's 2nd place finish in the 8-9 year old kids race on Sat. Great job Jack!
For this week: (we'll be doing a fairly easy week as most of you got a deep workout at the various races this past weekend and last week was a harder week)
Monday: Rest day, no training. KMS kids to attend Annual KMS Bowling Tourney.
Tuesday: Windsor cross training race: We'll recon the finalized course for this Sat's race.
Wed: Putney cross training race: We'll recon the course for this Sun's Vermont State Championships race.
Thursday: rest day, no training
Friday: rest day, easy 1/2 hour to 45 minutes on the trainers. Peter and Ansel to ride at KMS on spin bikes.
Saturday: Paradise Cross Frenzy cross race in Windsor, VT. This is our "hometown" cross race folks and, yes, they have a kids' race too! This is great, small-time, grass-roots racing at it's best. Even if you've never done a cross race, this is the one to get your feet wet.
Sunday: VT State Cross Championships at West Hill Shop in Putney. All our cub juniors should try to do this race as, well, it's States (meaning it's far, far more important than Nov. dryland training for skiing or a hockey game!). :)
Thanks!
